Who can work in Poland from India today?
An employer in Poland can hire you at any skill level. The employer gets the work permit online; you then register on e-Konsulat, where work-visa appointment dates in India are given by an electronic draw. Poland issued 16,000 work visas in the first quarter of 2026, 87% fewer than in the same quarter of 2022.

What is the minimum pay for a Poland work permit?
Only the legal minimums. We do not publish salaries for jobs we do not have.
- Work permit (type A) plus national D visa for work
- At least the minimum wage — PLN 4,806 gross a month or PLN 31.40 an hour from 1 Jan 2026 — and not lower than comparable employees. Working time at least 1/4 of full time (secondary source).

How does hiring from India work for Poland?
- Employer applies for the work permit electronically on praca.gov.pl; applications filed any other way are left unconsidered.
- Voivode (regional governor) issues the permit; the employer sends the original to the worker.
- Worker registers the national work visa on e-Konsulat (choose India, national visa). Appointment dates at the VFS centre are given by electronic draw.
- Worker fills the additional VFS application form and attends the chosen VFS centre in person on the assigned date.

What a genuine job offer includes
Under India’s Emigration Rules, a recruiting agent must give you the details of the job before recruiting you. Before you accept, you should have in writing:
- the employer’s name and the country and city of work;
- the job title and what the work is;
- the pay, hours and length of the contract;
- who pays for the visa, medical, ticket and housing before you start.
