Questions
Which is the easiest country in Europe to get a work visa for Indians?
None is easy, and it depends on your profile. On 24 October 2026, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria and Latvia had routes open to candidates in India at most skill levels (Latvia’s rules tighten from 1 January 2027); Estonia was open but most permits need at least €2,092 a month; Romania’s route for shortage jobs was paused; Slovakia’s embassy appointments for non-graduate jobs were suspended in 2024 and their 2026 status is not confirmed; Lithuania accepted only the EU Blue Card from India; Czechia accepted Employee Cards only through government programmes; Hungary was closed to most non-graduate jobs for Indian nationals.
Can I choose more than one country?
Yes. In the eligibility check you can choose any of them. In every route an employer has to offer you a job first.
Do I need IELTS for the EU countries?
None of the EU countries we cover lists an English test such as IELTS in the official document lists we checked. Employers can still ask for a language level.
