What are the steps for a Hungary work permit?

    Get a job offer of at least 6 months (fixed term) at or above the threshold.

    Apply at the Hungarian consulate for your nationality or residence, or the employer files via Enter Hungary with your written consent.

  3. 3

    Authority decides (administrative time 21 days; final decision within 70 days).

  4. 4

    Collect the visa for the permit, enter Hungary and receive the card.

How do appointments work for Hungary in India?

The Hungarian consulate competent for your nationality or habitual residence — for residents of India, the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi ([email protected]).

Whether the Consulate General in Mumbai or an outsourced visa centre accepts residence-permit applications: not confirmed (the embassy site's consular pages could not be read). Hungarian residence permits applied for abroad cost EUR 110 including the visa to collect the permit (OIF fee table). Appeals must be lodged within 8 days.

Can an agent get you an appointment or a decision faster?

No. Not us, not anyone.
